I think this is awesome, but do they throw as much light as regular bulbs or even those new energy saver bulbs?

Either way they are pretty damn cool. I can find a ton of uses for these in my film projects, in my studio, or in regular everyday use. I’m sure my friends can find uses for them as well. This is a goldmine for college or 20yr olds apartments.

We can make 230 volts in Euro base E27mm but we would require an order of 100 bulb of one type to cover our design cost.

now, there are led bulbs, that give exact the same amount of light as a 40 watt bulb (and same color light) but just uses 1.3 watt AND lasts longer if you use it well

I wonder do they make them where they put out more than a 100 watt incandesent light bulb? I have uses for a bulb that bright. Mostley for flounder gigging at night. Just something that wont drain the battery as fast or strain the inverter.

there are a few different LED flourecents tubes being offered but I do not think the light out put is the same and not very good as a general room light at this point in time.

Id recommend fixtures that take standard incandescent lamps. I use a wall globe fixture in my downstairs bathroom with a 34 watt incandescent lamp and have no illumination problems.

Is there any LED lights that would work for general lighting in the sockets that I already have?

You seem very close to making LED bulbs with the proper R,G,B intensity that mimics daylight even better than incandescents, but you aren’t pushing a “daylight” model. Is there a technical challenge, or other reason the “Daylight LED lamp” isn’t widespread?

oh, I dont no nothing bout it never heared of a LED lite befour. I do know that the mosquito is attracted to people by their carbon dioxide output through their resperation and also emitted through the epidermis. UV lights don’t attract them, Niether do those “bug” lights. Those only attract moths, and the like. Killing beneficial incects. I’m sure those ‘light emiting dioeds’ don’t hurt the bugs…Yall…

No, LED bulbs do not give off any electrical shock for bugs. LED bulbs are energy saving long life light bulbs. Since LEDs do not put out UV light this will help cut down on the number of mosquitos who are attracted to UV in standard light bulbs.
